Your donation is not tax deductible but we at some point would like to establish a foundation in support of energy independence. Energy Independence is a must. It is a national security issue. As gasoline pushes toward $4.00 a gallon, we are spending approximately $1.3 billion every day in this country for gasoline, up from $510-million a day in 2001. Most of that goes to countries not friendly to us. Imagine if this money stayed here, now, focused on home- grown alternative sources of energy and sensible energy policies for wind, solar, coal, tar sands, natural gas and nuclear power. But it must support Americans! The poor and middle class are always affected most severely by increased cost in staples like gasoline. We have the capacity to change this pattern by spending money here and creating jobs Americans want and need. We just need the will. So I am asking for your support. Any amount will do.
